Elevate

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026 · Lire en français

These terms are an agreement between you and Isabella Etenberg Holdings Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), Toronto, Ontario, Canada, about your use of Elevate: Business Planner (the "app", "Elevate") and our website. By creating an account or using Elevate, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Elevate is

Elevate is a planning and organization app for your day, your life, and your business. It includes tools for tasks, habits, goals, calendars, content planning, money records, wellbeing tracking, and a vision board. Some features are optional modes that you can turn on or off. Elevate is a personal organization tool, not a service that provides professional advice (see "Not professional advice" below).

Your account

You need to be at least 16 years old to use Elevate. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use Elevate and to subscribe, and you confirm you have it. Give us accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Subscriptions and payments

Elevate is free to download. Elevate Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, that unlocks the full app. The price in your local currency, including any taxes Apple adds, is shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 14 days). When the trial ends you are charged the subscription price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Free trials are offered once per Apple Account, and unused trial time is forfeited if you subscribe before it ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Elevate account does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel it with Apple. Payments, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Apple under its own policies, and we cannot issue refunds directly.

If you subscribe at our introductory "Founder Member Pricing", you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price may apply. We may change prices for new subscribers at any time, and if a price change would affect your existing subscription we will follow Apple's rules, including asking for your consent where Apple requires it.

Our rights in the app, and your license to use it

Elevate, including its design, text, and software, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use, under these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, sell, rent, or sublicense the app, or build a competing product from it.

Your content

You own what you put into Elevate, such as your tasks, notes, money entries, photos, and wellbeing entries. You give us a limited license to store, process, back up, and display your content only as needed to run the app for you and as described in our Privacy Policy. You promise that you have the right to use what you add and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app. That means no unlawful activity, no attempts to break, probe, or overload our systems, no accessing other people's accounts or data, no automated scraping, no interfering with the app's security, and no reverse engineering except where the law allows it.

Not professional advice

Elevate is a planning and record-keeping tool. Its business and money features (such as revenue tracking, goal tracking, and write-off logging) do not provide business, accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own records and for any tax filings, deductions, or business decisions you make. Please check important figures yourself and consult a qualified professional when you need one.

Elevate's cycle and wellbeing features are for general information and personal insight only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and Elevate is not a medical device. Don't use Elevate to prevent or plan pregnancy, to diagnose any condition, or to decide on any medical treatment. If you have a health concern, talk to a qualified healthcare professional, and in an emergency contact your local emergency services.

Connected services

Features that connect to Google, Microsoft, Apple, or other services (such as calendars and spreadsheets) are subject to those companies' own terms and privacy policies. You choose whether to connect them and can disconnect them at any time. We are not responsible for their services or for changes they make.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Elevate reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we do something that materially affects your data, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can. Back up anything important to you.

Ending your account

You can stop using Elevate and delete your account at any time in the app (menu, then Account, then Delete account). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put others or our systems at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) will survive.

Disclaimer and limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Elevate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to Elevate is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Elevate in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be waived.

Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover reasonable losses we incur from third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the app. This does not apply to the extent the law gives you rights that cannot be waived.

Apple-specific terms

If you use Elevate on an Apple device, you acknowledge that these terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims, and for any third-party intellectual property claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any rights you have under consumer law to bring a claim where you live, the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over disputes about these terms. Before starting a claim, please contact us at the address below so we can try to resolve it.

Language

These terms are available in English and French. If there is any difference between the two versions, the English version governs, except where the law of the place where you live (including Quebec) requires otherwise.

General

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Elevate. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term, that doesn't waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a business change. We may give you notices in the app or by email.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are meaningful, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Elevate after a change means you accept it. If you don't accept a change, you can stop using Elevate and delete your account.
